今天的預言和聖經有兩大不同：第一、聖經是給世界各地每一個人的，但今天的預言只是給那些領受的人；第二、今天聲稱是預言的話，必須經過嚴謹的查驗，等他人來判斷和衡量，但聖經不需要查驗，聖經全部是出於神，但預言並非如此，有可能是出於人，有可能是出於撒但。靈恩派需要聖經，需要知道預言不等於聖經，他們需要忠於聖經。福音派則需要知道，神今天仍在說話，我們仍處在先知預言時代，神的子民都能發預言。
